Beethoven was known to find inspiration strolling through the German and Austrian countrysides, saturating his music with the love of nature. 2002 Bronze Medalist Soovin Kim, along with pianist Gloria Chien and cellist Paul Watkins (Emerson Quartet) present two of Beethoven’s most celebrated piano trios, along with the nature-inspired Piano Trio No. 2 by American composer Pierre Jalbert.
