Each of the sixteen participants who advance from the Preliminaries present a full recital showcasing 19th and 20th century works from the standard repertoire. This round also includes the World Premiere of the Suite No. 3 for Solo Violin by American composer William Bolcom.

2014 IVCI Gold Medalist Jinjoo Cho returns to Indianapolis in a recital featuring the suite by Britten and the Sonata No.1 by Fauré, plus the Tango Song and Dance by André Previn and Chausson’s glorious Poème. Jinjoo Cho has continued her 2014 success by performing on many illustrious concert stages around the world. Seating will be extremely limited.

Join us for the grand finale of the Competition as we recognize the 2018 Laureates and hear encore performances by each. The ceremony also includes the announcement of all “Special Prize” recipients.
