Crossover trio 6-WIRE features a dazzling fusion of Western and Eastern music as it melds contemporary, classical, chamber, world music and jazz with the Chinese Erhu, a 2-stringed violin, combined with violin and piano. Celebrating world diversity, the trio incorporates stories into its concerts, transforming how live instrumental music is experienced. The Indianapolis community is invited to this free concert at the historic Madam Walker Theatre as part of the IVCI’s annual community celebration.
